About Us
Merry Makers was founded in 2001 by Allison and Brian Dunning. The venture quickly became Merry Makers & Decorators LLC, as balloon decorating was added to their list of creative genius. For the 1st 16+ years they operated under the name as both a family entertainment company and balloon décor company. In 2017, they started the journey to re-brand. They decided to separate the two sides of the company and give the decorating end its full due. Officially, they now operate as two separate companies. Merry Makes LLC, the entertainment side of the company, and Balloon Art by Merry Makers, the Award Winning balloon art, balloon decorating, and balloon delivery side of their business!
Balloon Art by Merry Makers works with corporate and company event planners to create fun, fabulous and friendly events with balloons: including Award Winning dance floor canopies, arches, columns, balloon drops, and bouquets that will make your event stand out from the rest!
Our crew has won an ILEA IDEA award Best Social Event Category for the Balloon Bubble Canopy décor as well as the ILEA IDEA award for Best Design/Décor for the Balloon Canopy we built for the Denver Wedding Association's birthday party celebration.
Balloon Art by Merry Makers works with our community to decorate events that will create once in a lifetime memories with our balloons!
Consultations are free, however a travel charge may be applied if needed.
Meet Allison
Allison Dunning has lived in Greeley with her husband Brian and their three daughters for over 21 years now, building the Merry Makers LLC and Balloon Art by Merry Makers businesses into what they are today. Allison is very active in her community, as a member the Monster Day Board, the Evans Area chamber of Commerce, The Greeley Chamber of Commerce, a board member of her neighborhood HOA and a member of Northern Colorado Women in Business. These ventures may keep Allison busy but she enjoys every minute of it! "I live, breath, and dream everyday about how to make the world a better place by bringing happiness and joy to the people around me with my art businesses," Allison says. Allison is also a ceramic and stained/fused glass artist, a budding watercolor artist, a Bee Guardian and an avid gardener.
